B2B Trail: Crews Have 48-Hour Window to Set New Ann Arbor Pedestrian Tunnel into Place
ANN ARBOR, MI — A major milestone is coming in Ann Arbor’s years-long quest to create a new tunnel for pedestrians and cyclists.
Weather permitting, construction crews will have a 48-hour window starting Tuesday, June 3, to cut open the railroad tracks between Bandemer Park and the Barton Nature Area and set large concrete culverts into place to create the tunnel under the tracks while Amtrak train service is temporarily paused.
