Huron River Drive from Dexter to Ann Arbor.
Sun, Jun 1, 2025 at 6:30 AM
From Dexter Ann Arbor Run leadership.....
HRD will be closed to all non-race traffic (including cyclists) from 6:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday. The concern is safety; over the years we‘ve seen the occasional cyclist or two on the road during the race but last year we saw a number of groups, some of which were riding among the runners. (A liability concern for the race.) So we are trying to get the message out to all local cyclists.
Mon, Jun 2, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Ride from Old St. Patrick‘s Church to Independence Lake, and back, about 22-24 miles, depending upon route. Pass a llama farm on Gregory road. Rest stop, with bathrooms, at Independence Lake.
Mon, Jun 2, 2025 at 6:00 PM
This ride will start and end at Moonwinks in Dixboro. Those who would like can stay for food and drink at Moonwinks after the ride. They are open until 9 PM.
The route will be a dirt road route:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47999643
If you prefer a paved route, it is easy to pick up the path at Matthai Botanical Gardens from this spot, and then go East or West on the B2B and back. I will not be leading a paved ride tonight, so you would be on your own unless someone wants to step up to lead this ride.
A tail light and some sort of rear view mirror is always a good idea. Helmets are mandatory.
Approximate pace is 10-12 mph, but slower or faster riders are welcome and we will regroup at various points.
Please RSVP if you are coming. Text 248-804-9775 if you will be late or need to cancel last minute so we don‘t leave anyone behind! We will meet at 5:45 and roll out at 6 pm sharp!
This is a ride geared toward women, but men are welcome to attend.

oin us for the Pedal & Whine Albion Malleable Bike Tour on Saturday, August 2, 2025!
In 2024 after 10 years in eastern Jackson county, we moved the Pedal and Whine Bike Tour to Albion in eastern Calhoun county. This enabled us to develop some great new rural routes with good pavement and gave us the opportunity to develop some unique gravel/paved routes. It also allowed us to change our venue to the popular Albion Malleable Brewing Company which is not only known for their fine craft brews, but also their delectable menu.
Our flagship fully-supported, week-long camping tour along Michigan‘s coast. Pedal tree-lined roadways past unreal lake shore views. Enjoy local wineries, micro-breweries, farm stands, historic resort towns, and all the interesting people along the way. This one‘s a classic for a reason!
