WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - A former prison camp just northwest of Chelsea is no more, and what comes next for the land is an open question.
Crews finished knocking down buildings and barbed wire fencing at the Cassidy Lake facility off Waterloo Road in 2023, several years after the Michigan Department of Corrections shuttered a boot camp-style program for inmates there.
